The Bama Beach Pickleball Club officers met this week to establish new protocols for play at the Gulf Shores Church of Christ. The church gym will be open for play beginning Monday, June 15th. Play will be Monday-Friday from 9am to Noon at this time.

Play will be open to MEMBERS ONLY. Anyone who is not currently a member can join. If you are not a member we encourage you to join us! Membership applications will be available at the front desk with the Facilitator. Bama Beach Pickleball Club membership is $20 annually.

COVID-19 guidelines for play will be followed. All players will be subject to the following health screen questions. If you answer YES to any of the questions listed below, you may NOT participate in play.

1. Have you or your family members been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19?
2. Are you or your family members experiencing a cough, shortness of breath or sore throat?
3. Have you or your family members had a fever within the last 48 hours?
4. Have you or you family members experienced new loss of taste or smell?
5. Have you or you family members experienced vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours?

Social distancing is requested/encouraged. There will be NO water fountains working or available. Therefore you will need to provide your own water bottle. High surface/touch areas and pickleballs will be disinfected. Disinfectant and paper towels will be provided in each restroom and all players using the restrooms will be asked to spray and wipe down areas touched. Play will be limited to 36 players. We hope to have hand sanitizer available at the facilitator desk. We encourage you to bring your own sanitizer as well, along with any other items you need to bring to feel comfortable. Cost to play will remain at $3 per person. We will be posting these guidelines at the entrance to the gym, in the gym itself and also in the local paper. Thank you for your cooperation!
